Product Description:The bell representing the female aspects stands for "prajna" or wisdom. This is held in the left hand. The Vajra symbolizes the thunderbolt and diamond that destroys all kinds of ignorance and itself is indestructable. The vajra represents the male principle and is held in the right hand. The bell and vajra are always used in combination during the religious ceremonies. So, Bell and Vajra are inseparable ritual objects and two together lead to enlightment.The bell and the vajra are made up of seven metals and sound very lovely, clear and loud. It also sings like singing bowls if hold them firmly by the top and rub a wood stick with light inward pressure around the lower outer edge. Stick is not included with the items. The set is handcrafted by the Nepali artists by the traditional method.
